Pick Up and Delivery
Upscale Consignment has contracted with Dealers Installation Service to provide pick up and delivery
service. They have flexible schedules and offer very competitive rates to make
it very easy for our customers and consignors to do business with us.
This company has a very large service area from Vancouver to
Medford, and everywhere in between!. They take great pride in making sure that your treasured pieces arrive safely, and on a schedule that is
convenient for you.
The
basic fee for pick-up
and delivery in the Portland-Metro area is $50 for 1 or 2 items, and each additional item is
$10 each. Other factors regarding your specific circumstance may
require additional fees.
* Incoming Consignments - LIMITED TIME OFFER:
If the combined total selling price of all
consignments picked up is at least $500, the
pick-up fee
will be a flat rate of $45!
Important:
All items for consignment must be pre-approved by Upscale Consignment before making arrangements to have the items delivered
to us.

Upscale Consignment is committed to bringing you the best possible prices on quality home furnishings, great selection, and fast turnover for your consigned items. Therefore, we are proud and excited to offer what we call "2/10 pricing policy" . Here's how it works:
- If the item has not sold after the first 2 weeks,
the price of the item is reduced by 10%.
- Every 2 weeks thereafter, the price drops an additional 10%
until the item sells!
- Each tag shows the starting price and the dates that the markdowns will occur.

2/10 Pricing Special Rules: On the day of an item’s markdown, it will be sold on a first come, first served basis. In the event that more than one person is waiting for a markdown item when the store opens, the item will be sold to the first person who tells an Upscale Employee that they wish to purchase the item. Phone and Internet orders for markdown items will be held until one hour after opening. This policy is in the interest of fairness, as priority will be given to those who make the effort to come in to the store.
Benefit to consignor: 2/10 pricing ensures that your items will sell at the highest "true market price". Consumers are smart, they know what an item is worth, and when it's at the right price, it will sell!
Benefit to consumer: Price reductions every day throughout the store. Continually changing inventory of quality home furnishings and décor at incredible prices!
With "2/10 pricing", you choose what price you want to pay. But remember. It may be gone if you wait too long!
Note: Some items will have no mark downs because the price is already exceptional. These items may include (but are not limited to) liquidation and overstock items, clearance items, model home furnishings, factory seconds, and smaller décor items.

Redesign Your Home This Spring

The first signs of spring are upon us! Daffodils, primroses and tulips are starting to grace the nursery shelves reminding us of new
beginnings. As you assess your home, both inside and out, this may be the perfect time to consider "redesigning" your home!
"Redesigning" is working with your current home furnishings,
creating or tweaking your color scheme, de-cluttering, deep cleaning,
and implementing a plan to rearrange furnishings to create flow, function and open spaces.
Color is the key to creating a welcoming, warm and cohesive space. Selecting appropriate color is foundational for a well designed
or redesigned room.
The de-cluttering process is the time to step back with a fresh set of eyes and consider what you love and what you can do
without. What things are dust collectors and which items are useful? Begin the process by pulling every accessory from the room and
set aside for future reference. Then, move everything else out of the space so you can begin with a "clean" slate...empty the room!
Speaking of "clean", this is the perfect time to deep clean the space! Dust from top to bottom and don't forget the corners.
Vacuum drapes, window ledges, base molding, and where molding meets the floor. Clean windows and window tracks of dust
and dirt that have collected over the winter months. Vacuum and shampoo carpets to eliminate spots and hidden pet odors!
Have a plan! Your plan will be based on your individual budget, style, room dimensions, and what you hope to accomplish.
For some, this may be a good time to consider replacing your dated or worn furnishings, and those that no longer fit your lifestyle.
Of course you will find great quality and current styles, plus stay well within your budget, by buying "like-new" pieces from
Upscale Consignment. For others, you may choose to utilize what you currently have with a few accessory additions.
As you begin to refurnish the empty space, be selective. You want the eye to move your color scheme around the
room at three levels; eye, mid and floor. Starting with the floor, evaluate whether or not the carpet/flooring is
going to ground your furniture. If not, select a complimentary area rug that is appropriate in size for the given area.
Then, taking your focal point into consideration, add your foundational sofa(s), chair(s), tables, lamps, and plants. Finally,
select and add artwork, pillows, throws and accessories. Remember, accessories are like the jewelry of the room; an
opportunity to express your personal style.

Consignments Accepted
Upscale Consignment accepts furnishings that are in "like new" condition and less than 10 years of age. The items must be of a good quality construction, have minimal wear and tear, and is of a style that would be of interest to a large number of customers.
Case Goods (Tables, bookcases, bedroom furniture, etc)

Solid wood construction preferred, although some veneered plywood or particle board
items will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. No "knock-down"
(self-assembled) items accepted

Wood finish must be smooth with consistent color. No water
stains or noticeable scratches on the primary surfaces

No broken or missing hardware/pieces. Doors and drawers must operate smoothly
-
Entertainment Centers must have a TV area which is at least 40" in
width.

We are no longer accepting antiques. We do accept antique
reproductions if they are 10 years old or less and are in
excellent condition
Upholstered Furniture (Sofas, Chairs, Recliners, etc.)

Upholstery must be absolutely clean, no apparent wear, and odor free. No stains. No faded or sun-bleached areas. No pet hair. No tears.

is paid in full within the stated option period; otherwise
interest accrues from date of purchase at the regular APR. The regular APR is
Prime Rate plus 16.90%. The APR may vary. This offer may be withdrawn at any
