Pre-approval and Preparation

In general terms,
we accept diamonds, gemstones, gold, platinum,
pearls, jade, high-end watches and designer
pieces with an appraised "replacement" value of
$750 or more.

All items must have a recent 3rd-party
independent appraisal (appraisal should be
no older than 3 years). If you do not have a
current 3rd-party independent appraisal, we can
arrange to have your item appraised with no

To maximize salability, jewelry should be clean
and polished. If your jewelry needs cleaning, we
can arrange to have it professionally cleaned
for you for a small fee.

In general, we will market your jewelry at about
50% to 70% of the appraised "replacement" value, if it
is in excellent condition and of a desirable
style.

We have price reduction options available to you
to help your jewelry sell more quickly. You may
choose to have us forward bona fide offers to
you, or you may choose automatic price
reductions. Or, you may choose to keep the price
firm. It's completely up to you, and our
consignment specialist will discuss all of these
options with you.

classifieds, we will showcase your jewelry on our very popular Online Showroom
which gives your jewelry world-wide
exposure!
If an out-of-state buyer wishes to purchase your
item, we will gladly arrange for shipping. This is a significant benefit for consigning with
us, and there is no extra charge for this
very valuable service!
And of
course, your items will also be showcased in our
jewelry display cabinets to be viewed by thousands
of customers who visit our showroom seven days a
week!

hour monitored security is provided by Honeywell
Security Systems. The system includes multiple video
cameras inside and outside the store to digitally
record all activities, perimeter sensors on all
doors and windows, and motion detectors. All jewelry
is locked in a fireproof safe each day.
Jewelry on consignment is insured by Upscale
Consignment through Jewelers Mutual Insurance, Inc.
